Ahhhh ... I feel so bad for you! I can completely relate. I've done so many similar things.

Once I threw on some old clothes ... they weren't my PJs, but they might as well have been ... and ran to the grocery store before work. I decided that even though it was cold, I should take my dog Jack with me. We hadn't had him for very long and I like to take him with me when I could. Well, I got to the store, went inside and did all of my shopping. Then, I get to the car and I can't find my keys. I look in the car and there they are in the middle console. Oh, I lost it. I just knew that Jack would freeze to death in the car. Travis went to work at 6:00 am that day and he really wasn't allowed to answer his cell phone. I called him, praying the whole time he would answer. Thankfully, he did, and as I began telling him what happened, through sobbing and unintelligible words, I saw little dog paws sticking out of the window. At first my brain didn't comprehend what I was seeing. Within seconds, I realized that I had left the windows cracked; enough to get the door unlocked! My sobs instantly turned to laughter ... and embarrassment.

So, as you see, I can really relate!

I can't wait to read about the rest of your adventures. :)

You are so funny! I share many of the same experiences so it must be a mommy thing ha ha! However, I rarely leave the house without getting ready unless it's to make a trip to La Bou with you;p

You are fabulous!! I absolutely love your sense of humor and your writing style and to combine them?! Well ... what can I say?! Fantastic! Great stories! I can relate to both the poopy butt cheeks in my face AND the running to school in my jammies. I am very much looking forward to more in your series. Lots of love!

You were thinking you needed soup!!!! ;) I always are amazed after one of my boys runs full force and without looking shwaks his face into the table or anything at face level because they weren't looking...they cry and break down for like 3 seconds and move on...I think wow I can't believe how resilient they are! But what about us Moms we are required to bounce back and quickly to deal with all the time constraints and obstacle courses a head of us at every turn to take care of our little people! So even after the glares...I bet yesterday afternoon you were your gorgeous self..all to say...how amazingly resilient you are!!! Resilient enough to share with us the color of your pj's! Gotta love Roxy boots too girl!!!!
Big love,
~Ris

I can so relate! Ugh, the poop thing just cracks me up. Girl I've been there more than once. My most recent "what was I thinking" issue was those dogs we got last May. We fell in love with them, but failed to remember we have serious travel/vacation plans in the coming years that won't be dog-friendly; and I also failed to remember that I have two very curious toddlers who pick up ANYTHING they find laying around and put it in their mouths...dog poop in my kids mouth was NOT what I was thinking about when we were holding them and getting all attached last year! Whew, glad we found them a good home. I like your blog by the way, didn't even know you had one! Check mine out whenever you get a chance; links are on my FB profile! Toodles!
